George â€śTootieâ€ť Raymond Bercier, 68, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at his home.

Grant Gerald Mecham, passed away suddenly on January 19, 2011.
Grant was born June 17, 1947, to Carl and Lucille Mecham in Moab, UT where he spent the first few years of his life. The family then moved to a ranch in Montana then later moved to Missoula and later to Seeley Lake where he graduated from Seeley Swan High School. He served an LDS mission in the Southwest Indian mission.
Merna Joy Furniss Wooden was born February 7, 1935 the third child of Clara Violet Cross Furniss and Alfred Parson Furniss.
Merna Joy was named after her motherâ€™s favorite actress Myrna Loy, but everyone knew her as Joy; Joy was born and grew up in the basalt area.Â She married Billy Dean Byington, in Blackfoot, Idaho (later divorced), out of this loving union she was blessed with two wonderful daughters, Linda Lee Byington (Neil) Carter of California, and Merna Lynn Byington (Marvin) Willis of Texas.Â Joy met and married Arland Wooden in California, they later divorced.
BLACKFOOT â€” Eighth-grade students at the Idaho Science and Technology Charter School have spent the last three months designing and constructing a functional city of the future.
Two teams from the school will travel to Boise this weekend to compete among 25 teams from 17 schools in the Idaho Regional Future City Competition.
THOMAS â€” It was an odd night at Snake River High School on Thursday evening as the highly anticipated match up between the Bear Lake Bears and the Snake River Panthers unfolded upon the hardwood.
After a late start, due to a freshman overtime tussle, the Bears raced out to a 10-2 lead and never looked back, stealing the road win over the Panthers with a 49-40 victory.
