BLACKFOOT — Students at Donald D. Stalker Elementary collected more than 1,000 items in one month to donate to the Bingham Crisis Center. The donation drive kicked off Oct. 22 in conjunction with "Make a Difference Day."
The donation drive was organized by Stalker Elementary's Parent Teacher Association and Sheila Evans, the school's Idaho Reads! VISTA representative.
Students and their parents donated 1,300 items including food, toiletries and other items to the Bingham Crisis Center.
