ABERDEEN — A stay at home mom and a retired school teacher have partnered to write and illustrate children's books.
Author Julie Beck is a stay at home mom with six children. She has read countless children's books to her kids, and about 10 years ago she said she began writing her own stories. But it wasn't until a few years ago that she found someone to illustrate her stories, making her dream of writing children's books a reality.
BLACKFOOT — Blackfoot paid a fond farewell to 7 seniors at Blackfoot High School on Friday night as Beau Hoskins, Cody Cunningham, Logan Loveland, Collin Rockwood, Phil Woods, Will Woods and Sam Cannon laced them up for the final time on the home hardwood.
Unfortunately for those seniors and the large contingent of fans on hand to cheer them on, Century was able to turn in a solid performance in the roll of spoiler, sending the home team packing with a 69-50 victory.
FIRTH - The Firth Cougars celebrated senior night Friday evening with a total dismantling of the Ririe Bulldogs, sending the visitors home on the wrong end of a 59-23 score.
With seniors Kory Anderson, Logan Wynn and Morgan Giles leading the way, the Cougars sped to an early 16-9 lead in the first period and the contest was never in doubt from that point.
