After all, he already knows what the right ingredients are to put in a hard day of work. He learned that work ethic early and then sharpened it while he worked for his father at his shop in Blackfoot.
"You judge success by the quality of work that gets done, not by how much but by how good it is," said the 19-year-old.

SHOW LOW, Ariz. — A woman police say is from Blackfoot was arrested in Arizona Sunday after she was found driving a stolen vehicle of a murdered woman near the Mexico border.
Gabriela Maldonado, a 21-year-old female, was detained at the border crossing April 30 driving a stolen 2006 Hummer and was arrested for auto theft, according to Show Low Police Chief Jeffrey Smythe.
Talk about timing.
The Blackfoot High School (BHS) We the People team was only a few miles from the White House on Sunday when they heard that terrorist Osama bin Laden, mastermind of 9-11, had been killed.
"Sunday night, we had returned from a dance when the We the People Idaho state coordinator called to say, 'Get down to the White House,' said Mitch Jensen, BHS We the People competitor.
"We crowded into our coach's room to watch the television and hear President [Barack] Obama's address," he said. "We were all excited, wondering if [the news of bin Laden's death] was true.
SHELLEY — Ten Shelley High School students and their English teacher have written a book and are hoping to get it published.
The students include seven freshmen, a sophomore, a junior and a senior.
POCATELLO – Cecil Allen 'Bud" Lish, 86, a longtime resident of Pocatello, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at a local care center following an extended illness.
MAPLETON, Utah — Robert Marion Kerr Jr., stalwart, faithful servant, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at his home at the age of 97.     Â
BLACKFOOT – A memorial fundraiser for Steve Aubrey will be Tuesday. The Blackfoot High School Debate and Speech team is sponsoring a memorial dinner and auction to raise money for a headstone for Steve Aubrey who passed away on Dec, 31, 2010, from a lingering illness. Aubrey was an assistant debate coach in 2008-2009.
The suggested donation for the dinner is $5 per person or $20 per family. The fundraiser will take place on the stage at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
A family clears a bed at the Blackfoot Community Garden as a group of volunteers assist Austin Worthington, 13, build a garden shed for his Eagle Scout project. Those with plots in the garden and volunteers are working to get the garden ready for planting and the Garden Festival, a grand opening celebration scheduled for May 14.
