IDAHO FALLS â€” One of two men charged in connection with the shooting death of a Firth man in March pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of aggravated assault.
Jayson B. Burns, 22, was arrested March 22 by the Idaho Falls Police in connection to the shooting of Anthony "A.J." Camp, 24, of Firth. In exchange for his guilty plea, Bonneville County Prosecutors dismissed a second count of aggravated assault and weapons enhancements on both charges, Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney Bruce Pickett said.
Donavon â€ťDonnyâ€ť Teton, 35 of Fort Hall, Idaho, passed on July 6, 2011 at Portneuf Medical Hospital in Pocatello surrounded by his family and friendsÂ due to a lingering illness.
Donavon was born on April 28, 1976, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Doyle and Wilma P. Teton.Â He attended elementary school at Tyhee, Broken Arrow, and East Heights Elementary at Lawrence, Kansas, and Hawthorne Junior High, Highland High School, ShoBan High School and Owyhee High School, Owyhee, Nevada.Â
BOISE â€” Afton Dorothea Hill Benson, 90 of Boise, who formerly lived in Blackfoot, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011, due to a rare form of lymphoma cancer.
She was born Feb. 12, 1921, in Churchill, Idaho, to John Hyrum Hill Sr., and Olea Shipp Hill, and was the youngest of seven children. Aftonâ€™s parents were sheep ranchers and farmers who were poor in money matters during the Great Depression but had abundant love for one another and provided a happy home. Their recreation was gathering around the piano while their mother played and they sang and harmonized.
