BLACKFOOT — The conference season couldn't have began any better for the Blackfoot Bronco soccer squad as they annihilated the team from Rigby 8-0 on Thursday afternoon.
"In last nights practice during the scrimmage it was some of the best passing that we've ever done and we are a good passing team when we put the ball on the deck and work together as a unit," Blackfoot head coach Liam Pope said. "The practice carried over today and we were sharp and it was a conference game, which is as good as it gets for me."
BLACKFOOT — The Blackfoot School Board of Trustees passed a local pay for performance plan that will reward teachers based on student growth, but not without ensuring parental involvement will be taken into consideration in student achievement.
The plan, which was developed by a committee of administrators and teachers, will use two assessment tools—the Idaho Reading Indicator for kindergarten through second grade and PLATO grade level standards benchmark assessments, both of which are already in place.
