Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree, your branches green delight us. Marty Ellis, incoming president of the Bingham Historical Society, leads the community in singing the classic Christmas carol after county commissioner Whitney Manwaring lit the beautifully decorated tree at a public ceremony inside the museum Monday night. The tree lighting was the first of the festive events as part of a week-long 'holiday open house' at the museum at 190 N. Shilling St. A cookie and 'holiday treat' sale will take place from 4-8 p.m. at the museum today.
