A public meeting to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the four proposed concepts for the project at the intersection of Groveland Road with US26 is from 4 - 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Groveland Elementary Cafeteria.
The meeting will be in an open house format. Drop by anytime.
Safety is the primary purpose for the project. The intersection has the highest crash ratio of any intersection in Bingham County.
Steam coming off the potato processing plant, under certain conditions, eliminates visibility.
The project is in the initial development phase.
Public input is desired.
Science Fun was on display at the 4-H Day Camp Monday afternoon.
Students used materials found in almost any kitchen to do experiments.
Ingredients included vinegar, baking soda, food coloring, Ziploc bags, Dawn dishwashing detergent, Mentos, pop rocks and Diet Cola.
Explaining why a Mentos fountain works, 4-H Coordinator Debbie White said, "Mentos is a mint candy with a hard shell with small holes in it," she said. "Carbon dioxide is in the soda.
"The carbon dioxide sticks to the Mentos candy; the carbon dioxide builds up and then explodes, White said.
