Former Blackfoot man to run across Idaho

June 8, 2012

This morning, as most of us were wiping the sleep from our eyes and heading to work, former Blackfoot resident was beginning a 435-mile run across Idaho.
Starting from Fruitland, about 50 miles west of Boise, Evans will run about 50 miles a day until he reaches his home in Victor.
Evans is running to raise funds for the Tenley Foundation, a nonprofit organization which distributes funds to the families of children with cancer.
Evans explained that the organization provides funds for unexpected expenses, such as an extra trip to Salt Lake City, that insurance won't cover.
