August 13, 2012

Appearing before Seventh District Judge Darren Simpson, Jeremy Robert Andrus, age 30, received a continuance because he has a new defense attorney.
Defense attorney John Souza from Pocatello asked for a new trial date so he has time to prepare for it.
In June, Andrus plead not guilty to aggravated assault, attempted second degree kidnapping (the victim was not held for ransom) and attempting to elude a police officer.
Andrus was arrested May 2 after a pursuit and standoff on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation, during which he threatened to commit suicide.
