Grizzlies edge out Broncos 51-48

January 5, 2013

BLACKFOOT — The darn ball just wouldn't go through the hole. Fresh off their heartbreaking road overtime loss at Madison, the Blackfoot Broncos faced off with another 5A school on Friday night and trailing by three points with thirty seconds left in the contest the Broncos got not one, not two, but five different shots at tying the ball game. "You can't fault the looks we got," Blackfoot head coach Dan Hale said. "We had the ball in the hands of our shooters. We couldn't have asked for a whole lot more."

At the end of December, Bingham County officials launched a new program to help community residents deal with the high cost of prescription medications.
Through a partnership with the National Association of County (NACo), the free Prescription Discount Card program provides area residents with a card that is saving consumers across the country an average of 24 percent off the retail price of prescription medications, said Sharon Strum, Bingham County Welfare Director.
"Bingham County is not sponsoring this program; we are just making it available," Strum said.
