LOS ANGELES — A California woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to what is believed to be the first traffic citation alleging a motorist was using Google's computer-in-an-eyeglass.
The device, known as Google Glass, features a thumbnail-size transparent display above the right eye.
The technology will not be made widely available to the public until 2014, but defendant Cecilia Abadie was one of about 10,000 "explorers" who received the glasses earlier this year as part of a tryout.
BLACKFOOT — Come check out "A Child's Christmas" at the Bingham County Christmas Tree Fantasy. It is in the Needlecraft Building on the Eastern Idaho State Fairgrounds in Blackfoot.
The event begins with a tea this evening, sponsored by Bingham Memorial Hospital.
Volunteers were decorating trees and the building on Monday. The curtains encircling the room were donated by Pilar Ramirez of SA-SYS in Blackfoot.
Asked why she was decorating a tree, Francie Jeffery said, "It's a good cause."
"The money goes to charities," said Girl Scouts Katelynn Edmo and Sierra Key.
