Anyone who attends the Blackfoot Community Players' (BCP) latest play "Night of January 16th," just might find themselves on stage acting as a juror in the murder mystery which opens appropriately on Jan. 16 at the Nuart Theatre (195 N. Broadway) in Blackfoot.
First time director Rob Cox is excited to present the courtroom drama based on the book by Ayn Rand. Cox, a Blackfoot resident of 15 years, has served on the BCP 'board of directors' for three years and has acted in several of their productions.
Frances Navo, 91, of Gibson passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.
She was born Feb. 10, 1922 in Fort Hall, the daughter of Isaac Sandy, a descendant of Boise Valley, and Mary Fisher Sandy.Â She was a great-granddaughter of Captain Jim.
She was raised in the Gibson and Fort Hall area.Â She attended Sherman Boarding School in Riverside, Calif.
She married Richard C. Navo in Gibson in 1940. He preceded her in death in 1985.
She was a member of Jehovahâ€™s Witnesses.
