After slow start, Firth blows past Ririe

February 2, 2014

FIRTH — Coming into Saturday night's game with Nuclear Conference leader Firth the Ririe Bulldogs had just three wins and two of those came against Aberdeen.
So it was easy to see how the Firth faithful were expecting a blowout of the Cougars.
They did eventually leave the school after watching a blowout victory, but it did not go the way many had thought.
It took the Cougars almost five minutes of the opening quarter to score a basket and they scored just four first quarter points.
But after that opening quarter Firth head coach Scott Adams got his team going as the Cougars scored 64 points in the final three quarters to earn a 68-19 victory.
