BLACKFOOT — After trailing by as many as 11 in the fourth quarter the Blackfoot Broncos relied on their defense to get them back in the game with 4A District 5/6 opponent Rigby Wednesday night.
But after the Broncos went on an 8-0 run to cut the Trojans lead to three a questionable offensive foul call sent things spiraling out of control for the Broncos.
Rigby closed out the game on a 12-6 run to hand the Broncos a 69-60 loss.
Lt. Gov. Brad Little was among those impressed by Blackfoot High School's We The People team on Wednesday.
The Broncos won their seventh straight competition and earned the right to represent the state in the national event in Washington, D.C. in late April.
