BLACKFOOT â€” Long after all the other matches had finished and most of their teammates had left and gone home the Blackfoot doubles pair of Rachel Cannon and Anna Inskeep were still on the tennis courts of Blackfoot High School engaged in what turned out to be a three set battle.
After dropping the first set 6-4, the duo battle back to take set two 6-4.
But as the winds began to pick up and the spectators began to leave as the temperature dropped Inskeep and Cannon kept battling eventually earning a 7-5 third set win.
Members of the Idaho Science and Technology Charter School board corrected a violation of open meeting law during a special meeting on Wednesday. That violation occurred on March 12.
During Wednesday's meeting, board members Gary Larsen, acting chair Kelly Moulton, Bryan Barclay and Steve Elliott voted unanimously to declare the violation.
The board members then declared a vacancy on the board and filled it.
Becki Adams was elected unanimously.
Mary Catherine (Molly) O'Rourke Peters, 89, beloved mother and grandmother peacefully passed away in her sleep surrounded by her family at the home of her daughter in Pocatello, Idaho on March 16, 2014.
Molly was born June 10, 1924 to John T. O'Rourke and Mary C. Hanratty O'Rourke in Pocatello, Idaho. She grew up in Pocatello, attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and graduated from Pocatello High in 1942. Molly worked for several years at Scowcroft & Sons, a product shipping company in Pocatello.
