City workers seek help battling vandalism

March 25, 2014

City officials are asking the public's help at Jensen Grove.
Scott Hays, director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Blackfoot, is asking the public to report any suspicious activity there.
"There has been a lot of vandalism this spring, worse than normal," he said. "We need people to report if they see anything out of normal and call the police at 785-1235 or parks and rec at 785-8622.
"Fortunately, the vandals didn't break the door in the women's restroom but we did need to reset the anchors—putting anchors in the block wall to rehang the door," said Hays.
