IDAHO FALLS - The Lady Broncos travelled up I-15 to the Bonneville Bee Hive to take on the Lady Bees and were stung to the tune of a 46-38 set back Friday night.
In a game that was closer than the final score would indicate, the Lady Broncos seemed poised to take the sting out of the Lady Bees until Erica Shenton scored nine straight points in the early going of the fourth quarter to put the Bonneville squad in front for good.
Dewain H. Taylor, 62, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at his home in Blackfoot.
Dewain was born December 22, 1947 in Rigby, Idaho to Donald S. Taylor and Mary A. Hill.Â He spent his childhood in Blackfoot, Idaho and graduated from Blackfoot High School.
Dewain married Regina Ceriello and together they had two children, Dewain A. â€śTonyâ€ť and Theresa. They were later divorced.
Robert Charles Parker, 83, of the Blackfoot area passed away December 9, 2010 at the home of his daughter Charlotte Marx in Bloomington, Bear Lake, Idaho.
Bob, as he was known, was born in 1926 in Bloomington, Idaho to George Elmer Parker and Lula Caroline Christensen. He spent his childhood there, attending Fielding High School in Paris, Idaho.
An accident involving a semi-trailer and a passenger car blocked a section of Highway 91 between Blackfoot and the south interchange at Exit 89 Friday morning.
Emergency crews from Blackfoot and Fort Hall were dispatched to the accident, which occurred at approximately 10 a.m. Officers from Idaho State Police, Blackfoot Police and the Bingham County Sheriff were also dispatched to assist.

BLACKFOOT â€“Â Stillwaters Counseling in Blackfoot was notified Friday that the partial care program for children with severe emotional disorders and children at risk of out-of-home placement has been cut by the Department of Health and Welfare. While government funding for the program ends Dec. 31 counselors and social workers at Stillwaters are determined to find a way to continue service. However they admit they will need the communityâ€™s help.
SHELLEY â€” The Shelley Lady Russets turned in their best performance of the year on Wednesday evening, overpowering the Lady Bees of Bonneville 56-43 in a High Country Conference tilt at Shelley High School.
"Like I told the girls, this was the best team basketball that we have played this year," Shelley head coach Burke Davis said. "We distributed the basketball with extra passes and I thought that we were really patient, we didn't shoot as many ill advised shots as we have so far this year."
