Whirlwind week changes life of local woman

October 28, 2010

BLACKFOOT – In one whirlwind week everything changed for Robyn Case and her family.
“I was 31 years old and I was four months pregnant with my fourth baby when I found a lump,” said Case. “I thought it was something that had to do with the pregnancy.”
Her husband, Doug, kept telling her to ask her doctor which she finally did on a Monday in August 2008.
Case says on Monday her doctor sent her over to a surgeon who did a biopsy. Tuesday they did an ultrasound, Wednesday she had an MRI, Thursday they received the results and Friday at 7 a.m. she went in for surgery.

County offers voting services

October 28, 2010

BLACKFOOT — Curbside voting and AutoMark voting are available to electors in every precinct in Bingham County.
Curbside voting is done at the polling place. An election worker comes out to the person’s car to assist the vehicle-bound person.
To use this service, the person bringing the voter to the polls comes into the polling place to request that an election worker bring a ballot out to the car. Before voting, each elector must show some form of photo identification to vote.
All polling places have this service available.
