Sheriff seeks suspects’ information

SHELLEY — The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying three suspects involved in a burglary Oct. 16 at the old Shelley Sugar Plant.
On Oct. 16 approximately 11:50 p.m., three subjects—two males and one female—broke into the facility and buildings at the old Shelley Sugar Plant. The area and building currently houses items owned by the Army Surplus store. The individuals took several items including water bags with US in black lettering, brush block relay, three pairs of black overshoes (size 3) and half a box of 20-millimeter dummy rounds.

4-H leaders recognized

BLACKFOOT — Casey Rosin from Firth and Kathy Ternus from Blackfoot were recognized for their leadership at the Bingham County 4-H Open House Monday evening.
Rosin received the Spirit of 4-H award and $200. This is the third year Randy and Julie Wilmot have sponsored this award.
Randy Wilmot said the Spirit of 4-H award goes to “the youth member who goes beyond what they need to do; they put in that extra effort.”
