BLACKFOOT — While warm temperatures today may feel like a spring day to some, another storm is on its way bringing additional rain and possibly snow Friday and Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 40s today and tomorrow, but will quickly drop back below freezing Saturday and Sunday.
Rain is expected to arrive this evening and continue through Friday night. Snow levels are forecast to drop to valley floors Friday night. A slight chance of snow remains Saturday.
BLACKFOOT — Thanks to generous donations and willing volunteers, the Blackfoot Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign raised more than $5,000 and exceeded expectations this year.
The campaign, which runs from Thanksgiving to Christmas, raised $800 more than last year and is nearly double the amount raised in 2009.
The Southeastern Idaho Community Action Agency's Bingham County office is the local Salvation Army service extension. SEICAA coordinates volunteers for the kettles and collects and distributes the funds to the local community.
