IDAHO FALLS – The doors of the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Idaho don't open for about 24 hours but more than 75 people already are in line at 3003 S. 25th E. in Ammon despite the single digit temperatures.
BLACKFOOT — Butch Hulse won the runoff election Tuesday for seat 4 on the Blackfoot City Council by a margin of 122 votes.
Hulse defeated Clair L. Broadhead with a vote of 450-328 as he garnered 57.8 percent of the vote and won the majority at each polling place.
A total of 778 voters headed to the polls in the runoff election and turnout was similar to the November election when 781 total people cast their vote for seat 4.
“I appreciate everyone that voted,” Hulse said after the election. “I’m really excited.”
Broadhead had no comment after the election results were finalized.
