Shooting suspect pleads guilty to aggravated assault

IDAHO FALLS — One of two men charged in connection with the shooting death of a Firth man in March pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of aggravated assault.
Jayson B. Burns, 22, was arrested March 22 by the Idaho Falls Police in connection to the shooting of Anthony "A.J." Camp, 24, of Firth. In exchange for his guilty plea, Bonneville County Prosecutors dismissed a second count of aggravated assault and weapons enhancements on both charges, Bonneville County Prosecuting Attorney Bruce Pickett said.
