BLACKFOOT —Artist Pennie Wolf from Malad won "Best of Show" in the Fine Arts competition during a reception at Eastern Idaho State Fair Friday.
Wolf said she had taken the photo of this girl right after she had placed second in a 4-H dog show among 144 kids. She used that photo to create her artwork.
"She was so happy, then her mom walked up behind her and said, 'You could have won first place,'" Wolf said. "That's when I took the photograph."
