History of Thanksgiving

In 1621, the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies. For more than two centuries, days of thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states.
It wasn't until October 1777 that all 13 colonies celebrated day of Thanksgiving.

Blackfoot football team presents trophy to student body

Blackfoot High School celebrates during a pep rally after the varsity team took yet another state championship during the Milk Bowl last Friday. "Every day is good to be a Bronco, but especially a day that you win back-to-back championships!" said one of the coaches. The Broncos also won in 2011.

Shelley celebrates football championship

Shelley High School football players sign the 3A Championship banner Tuesday morning after an assembly recognizing their championship. Shelley capped a perfect season (12-0) by defeating Fruitland, 37-10, in the state championship game last Friday at Eagle High School. The Shelley team were also recognized as the 3A State Academic Champions.
