A Shelley man is in Asia to share a message of God's love through a presentation called Born Wild/Created to be Free.
Todd Pierce is a former rodeo cowboy who is now pastor to the Professional Bull Riders tour. He is involved with Riding High Ministries, whose mission statement reads, "Bringing the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and the good news of His kingdom to the world."
In Pierce's presentation, he uses an unbroken horse to illustrate God's love and man's desire to be free.
"I fell in love with training horses while in college," Pierce said recently.
Bright sunshine and pleasant temperatures greeted both volunteers and guests at Jason Lee United Methodist Church on Thursday.
Approximately 60 volunteers worked through the Community Dinner Table (CDT), a faith-based group which includes participants from many churches and service organizations, to provide a Thanksgiving meal to all comers.
"Be sure to tell whoever is in charge that I appreciate it," said Mike Finnigian of Pocatello. "I'm a bachelor and all my relatives have left the area.

IDAHO FALLS â€” A Shelley woman was killed and two other people suffered slight injuries in a late-afternoon collision on Tuesday, Idaho State Police reported.
Approximately 5:30 pm, Idaho State Police investigated the crash in the intersection of US91 and W 65th S Road, also known as the York Exchange south of Idaho Falls.
