BLACKFOOT â€”Â A two-vehicle crash on US 26 at milepost 297 near Blackfoot sent one man to the hospital Thursday morning.
According to the Idaho State Police report, James Miller, 52, of Herriman, Utah, was driving west on US 26 in a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup. Mark Bynum, 52, of Blackfoot, was attempting a left hand turn out of a residence onto US 26. Bynum was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500.
Bynum did not yield to Miller's vehicle and was struck on the driver's side. Miller was driving a service pickup from Culligan.
BLACKFOOT â€” Blackfoot school board members received no visible flak from the public at a brief meeting Thursday night where they unanimously moved to proceed with a $1.975 million "maintenance and operation" supplemental levy election on March 12.
The levy, which was originally formed in 2007 to help supplement teachers salaries and invest in technology and facilities for the students, is up for renewal every two years.
