BLACKFOOTâ€”A free fun, interactive 6-week program called "Eating Smart - Being Active" will be offered - starting this evening - and every Tuesday night in conjunction with the Community Dinner Table suppers at Jason Lee Methodist Church in Blackfoot. The classes will run about one hour from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
The classes, which will be taught by nutritionist Denise Durocher from the University of Idaho Extension office in Pocatello, will cover healthy eating and cooking for less, planning meals, saving money at the grocery store, food safety and being active.
Value tickets are available for those who would like to see the acclaimed "California and Montreal Guitar Trios" perform at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center (BPAC) Thursday at 7:30 p.m - at a discounted price.
Susan Mann, BPAC programming director, announced on Monday that $10 tickets will be offered for the last 10 rows of the auditorium.
