BLACKFOOTâ€”You may not have intended to stop and watch Paul Issak perform on the free stage at the Eastern Idaho State Fair, but the comedian/juggler has a way of raising the enthusiasm and drawing people, young and old, to his show once he hits the stage.
Jason and Joni Bateman of Burley settled in to watch the show with their two children after being drawn in by the laughter and cheers of the crowds.
"We're glad we stopped in. This is fun...it's free and our kids are loving it. Look at their smiles," Joni said.
On Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 7:27 a.m. the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle crash, westbound on State Highway 39, near milepost 47, near Blackfoot.
Bronson Smith, 17, of Pingree, was traveling eastbound on State Highway 39 in a 1991 Nissan Sentra. Olivia Anderson, 17, of Blackfoot, was traveling westbound on State Highway 39 in a 1992 Ford Victoria. Smith was turning northbound into All American Gas when he failed to yeild to Anderson.
Smith was transported by ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
