Clair M. Spencer, 84, a lifetime Blackfoot resident, passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at the Willows Assisted Living Center.
Clair was born April 16, 1926, in Blackfoot to Henry W. and Myrtle Thompson Spencer. He attended school in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School in 1944. Following graduation Clair served in the United States Armyduring World War II.
On June 2, 1950, he married Ilajean Nelson in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Clair M. Spencer, 84, of Blackfoot died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at the Willows Assisted Living in Blackfoot.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at the Blackfoot Fourth Ward, 520 North Shilling, Blackfoot. Burial will follow at the Grove City Cemetery with military rites by the Stewart Hoover Post #23.
Family will meet with friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot and one hour prior to services at the church.
Cloda Neeley McCrory 88, of Blackfoot passed away quietly at her home surrounded by those she loved on Oct. 12, 2010.Â She was born Dec. 4, 1921, in Preston to Elmer and LaVern Orchard Neeley.Â She graduated from Pocatello High School in 1939.Â She married Orville F. (Mac) McCrory in 1942.Â Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.Â
Jacquelin L. Moon, 62 year old Sterling area resident, died at her home on Sunday, October 10, 2010, following an extended illness. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
Fort Hall â€“ Domay Honeybloom Graves, eight months old, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010 at home. She was born on January 28, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Joanie Graves and Guy Dean Nevada Jr.
Domay was a happy little angel. She sometimes was very quiet but she was also a talkative baby girl. She enjoy it when her big sister, Zoey, was around her.
Merzel Viola Truchot Decker, 72, of Pocatello, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at Pocatello Care and Rehab in Pocatello, Idaho from a lingering illness.
She was born May 26, 1938 in Fort Hall, Idaho to Victor George and Teola Ella Metz Truchot.
Merzel attended elementary schools in Fort Hall and graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1956. She later attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevenâ€™s Point where she earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration.
IDAHO FALLS â€” Wendell Bruce Walton, 69, of Idaho Falls passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Bruce was born July 27, 1941, in Afton, Wyo., to Wendell S. and Sarah Duke Walton. At the age of two the family moved to Montpelier where he received his schooling and graduated from Montpelier High School.
Carole Jean Harris Coffman, 74, of Blackfoot quietly passed away at home on Oct. 2, 2010, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous 11-year battle with cancer.
Carole was born in Pocatello on June 19, 1936, to Lionel James Harris and Tirzah Mary Infanger.Â She was the oldest of four children.
She attended school in Pocatello and American Falls where she excelled in art classes and was known as the â€śschool artistâ€ť.
Joyce Clemens, 59 of Firth passed away on Oct. 3, 2010, in Idaho Falls caused by health complications.
She was born May 14, 1951, in Cottonwood, the daughter of Roy Allen and Georgia Allen.
She was raised in Mountain Home and the Nampa area.
She met the love of her life Carl Clemens in January 1968, and the two were married later that year on June 28. Throughout their 42 years of marriage they had four children; Kim, Lisa, Jason and Amanda. They eventually settled in Firth in 2005.
REXBURG â€”Tamme Jane Edwards Petersen, 48, of Blackfoot passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at Madison Memorial Hospital from cancer.
She is the daughter of Ted Edwards of Spencer and Judy Broadhead of Blackfoot.Â Â
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave.
The family will meet with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. at the funeral prior to the service.Â Arrangements are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.
