Devon Howell, a most kind and gentle man, passed away on January 8th, 2011 due to complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He was 78 years old. He enjoyed the simple things of life and being with his family and friends—especially over a good meal.
Devon was born on May 31, 1932 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Reta Fackrell and Newell Howell. He graduated from Blackfoot High School and Brigham Young University. He enjoyed sports in his youth and as an adult. Devon was in the grocery business all of his life and owned a few businesses of his own.
