William Jay Phillips, 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday Dec. 11, 2011 surrounded by loving family. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at the Aberdeen LDS Chapel with Bishop Keith Phillips and Pastor Dean Lifshay officiating.
Interment will follow the services at the Aberdeen Cemetery with veteranâs honors by the Aberdeen American Legion Post 59. A reception will follow at the LDS Chapel. Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 18, from 5-6:30 p.m. at Davis-Rose Mortuary, American Falls and at 10 a.m. before the funeral at the church.
Adelina Marquez, 81, of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011 at the Bingham County Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Blackfoot.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home and will be announced.
Rhoda Virginia Keele, 75, of Pingree, passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2011 at her home following a struggle with cancer.
She was born May 24, 1936 along with twin brother, Robert,Â in Pocatello to Ray Parkinson and Lexie Sundstrom.
She grew up in Tyhee and Riverside and graduated from Blackfoot High School.
Rhoda married Robert Roddam and they were later divorced. Forty years ago on July 17, 1971, she married Ronald Blain Keele. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.Â They lived in Blackfoot for a short time before moving to Pingree.
Milton Junior âJayâ Cotterell, 85, of Provo, Utah, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 at the Courtyard at the Jamestown Enhanced Care and Assisted Living Facility in Provo.
Jay (as he was called by his friends) was born Oct. 16, 1926 in Arimo, Idaho. and moved to Moreland at the early age of 3.Â He is the son of Milton Hope Cotterell and Gertrude Eva England McKnight.Â Before the age of 4, Harrison McKnight became his father.
Linda Kelsey Chaffin Warner, 60, formerly of Swan Valley, died Dec. 3, 2011 at her home in Lake Havasu, Ariz. Arrangements are pending under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
Thomas Russell Bowers, 71, of Blackfoot, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 at his home hand-in-hand with the love of his life and eternal companion, Pat.
Tom was born April 21, 1940 in Wilmington, Delaware, to Edward Thomas Bowers and Mildred Rebecca Russell. His youth was spent in Delaware where he graduated from Brownville Technical High School in Wilmington. He spent eight years in the Delaware National Guard. He had also lived in Virginia and Texas as well as in Richfield and Salina Utah, and Pocatello.
