John Thomas Clark known among his friends as “John”, “Tom”, “Johnny” and “J.T.” to his railroad buddies, passed away at his home after a short illness with a cancerous brain tumor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at the Moreland LDS Chapel, 740 W. 175 N. in Blackfoot, with Bishop Keith Keller conducting.
The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot and again for one hour prior to services at the church.
George Robert Ney, 79, of Blackfoot passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at his home.
George was born Feb. 21, 1931, in Decatur, Ill., to Carl Winter Ney and Pearl Susan Dunkel. He was raised and educated in Decatur.
George served in Japan during the Korean Conflict in the United States Navy, his ship, the USS Preston, went throughout the world during his service. After serving in the Navy, he lived in Southern California from 1958 to 1972, until he relocated to Blackfoot in 1972. He has lived here ever since.
