Bobbie Lou Hansen, 82, of Blackfoot passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Bingham Memorial Hospital.
Service arrangements are pending and will be announced by Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
Vear R. Ellis, 90, of Blackfoot passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, following surgery.
He was born Sept. 4, 1920, in Blackfoot, the son of Wilson Ellis and Sophronia Wolfley Ellis and the youngest of nine children.
He attended school in Riverside. He lived most of his life in the Riverside area with time served in World War II and a short time in California.
On April 2, 1941, he married Loraine Stander in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Eight children were born to this union. They had just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
Sandra “Sandy” Rossi of Pingree left our world on Sunday, April 17, 2011, from causes related to age and chronic illness. She was 66.Â
Sandra Sue Rodgers was born in Blackfoot April 23, 1944, the second daughter and child of Lawrence “Larry” Rodgers and Louise (Clarke) Rodgers. With her older sister Sharon, Sandy spent several years under the loving care of their maternal grandmother, Lydia (RaDue) LaFever, and step-grandfather, Bill LaFever, and in the company of many aunts, uncles, and cousins on the family farm at the edge of Blackfoot.
