POCATELLO — Kenneth “Woosie” Dixey, 80 of Blackfoot passed on May 9, 2011, at Portneuf Rehabilitation Center in Pocatello with his family next to him at his bedside after complication from sudden illness. Â
Kenneth was born on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation Aug. 3, 1930, to Lawrence Dixey and Mae Pocatello. He was raised just outside of the Blackfoot city limits most of his life. He attended school in Blackfoot up until the eighth grade.Â

Irma V. Tyre Taylor, has gone to be with her Maker. Irma was 84 years young. Her wonderful wit and great sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.
She was born April 5, 1927, in Boxley, Georgia, to Benjamin L. and Agnes Lona Thornton.
Irma loved the outdoors. Her interests were fishing, cooking, reading Louis L’Amour books and watching her family grow as the years passed. To be able to see her great-grandchildren was a gift she always cherished.

Traditional visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at the Kenneth Dixey residence off Highway 91 just south of Blackfoot. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling in Blackfoot. Traditional burial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2011, in the Gibson Cemetery where final military rites will be presented by the Fort Hall and Blackfoot Veteran Honor Guard.
Penny Gentillon, 35, of Pingree passed away Monday, May 9, 2011, at the Madison Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot.
The family will meet with family and friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and again for one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Ammon Cemetery.

ARCO — Carol Ann Baird, 73, passed away peacefully at her home in Moore on May 6, 2011.
She was born Dec. 6, 1937, in Moore to Mark K. and Beulah Bever King. Carol Ann spent her childhood in Moore where she received her education, graduating from Butte High School in 1955. She married Arthur Nile Baird in September 1955. She lived variously on both coasts and most of the states in between.
Aaron Pubigee, 40, of Fort Hall passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Portneuf Valley Rehab and Extended Care in Pocatello with his family by his bedside.
Aaron was born June 11, 1970, in Pocatello to Verla Batt Pubigee Farmer of Ross Fork and the late David Leslie Pubigee of Arbon Valley. He was raised in Bannock Creek and Fort Hall in his younger days, and the remaining adult life in Ross Fork. He attended school at American Falls Elementary, in the Blackfoot School District and graduated from Sho-Ban Jr/Sr High School.
Blackfoot resident Garold Clark Bergesen died Sunday, May 08, 2011, at his home from apparent heart attack. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Hawker Funeral Home.
Wanda Francene Birch Taylor, 91, of St. Anthony died May 5, 2011, at the Homestead in Rexburg with all of her children at her side.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 9, at the St. Anthony Stake Center, 247 East 4th North, with Bishop Del Ray Davenport officiating at 11 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery. Services are under the direction of grandson Troy Dietrich with Hawker Funeral Home.
Irma Vivian Taylor, 84, of Blackfoot, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011, at the Good Samaritan in Boise.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home and will be announced.
Eva June Vogt Bell, 82, of Las Vegas and formerly of Blackfoot, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nev.
