William Frew, 81, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born December 18, 1929 in Roberts, Idaho to Stanley W. and Lilly Jardine Frew.Â Bill was raised in the Roberts area where he received his education, graduating from Roberts High School in 1947. He enlisted in the United States Army and served his country with honor.
On January 5, 1969 he married Nevada Hawley in Reno, Nevada.Â They made their home in Howe, Idaho where Bill ranched and farmed most of his working life.Â
Jack Edwin Merritt, 77, longtime businessman and resident of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at his home.Â He was under the care of his dedicated and loving wife and the staff of Blackfoot Home Health and Hospice.
Born January 5, 1934 in Afton, Wyoming the third of eight children to Paul Merritt and LaFawn Skinner Merritt. After graduating from Rigby High School, he enlisted in the Army and served in Newfoundland during the Korean War.
He married BernaDine Hawker on Friday, July 13, 1956 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Ida L. Plevick, 66, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 at Bingham Memorial Extended Care in Blackfoot.
Funeral services are pending and will be announced by Hawker Funeral Home.
Marilyn M. Jolley, 75, of Firth passed away peacefully May 26, 2011 at her home under hospice care.
She was born June 6, 1935 in Shelley, Idaho to Marion C. and Voilet Mitchell Esplin.Â She attended school in Shelley, Basalt, and graduated from Firth High School.
She married Merlyn D. Jolley in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on December 7, 1956.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in the Primary, Young Womens and Relief Society Organizations.Â She also served with her husband in the Idaho Falls Temple.
Marguerite Young King, 95, of Firth died peacefully in her home on May 23, 2011.
Marguerite was born November 17, 1915 in Coyote (now called Antimony) Utah to William Riley and Clara Belle Savage Young.Â She attended high school in Circleville, Utah.
She married Merrill L. King on May 8, 1933.Â When they had saved enough money to travel to Salt Lake City, they were sealed in the temple on February 6, 1934.
Darthella Leavitt peacefully passed away May 25, 2011 at the age of 80 surrounded by family at her home at The Gables Assisted Living Center of Shelley.Â
She was born June 13, 1930 to Jesse Stephen and Mary Alta Collings Downs in Deer Lodge, Montana.Â She grew up in Lewisville Idaho where she attended Midway High School.Â

Timothy Fredrick Swenson, 65 passed away from the ravages of cancer at Portneuf Regional Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho on Saturday, May 21,2011 surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 3, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Little Lost River Community Church in Howe.Â The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at the church.Â Interment will be in the Howe Cemetery under the direction of the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Arco.
Jack Edwin Merritt, 77, longtime businessman and resident of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at his home from a lingering illness.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Blackfoot 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 187 N. Ash St.,Â with Bishop Tad Pearson conducting.
The family will meet with friends on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot, Idaho. and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

ARCO â€” June Talbot Williams, 85, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, in Idaho Falls.
She was born June 2, 1925, in St. John, Idaho to Andrew Melvin and Miriam Monson Talbot. June was raised and received her elementary education in St. John. In 1943 she graduated from Malad High School. She spent the next several years working for the soil conservation offices in Malad and Pocatello.
