Erma Gay Gunnell Higgins, 61, of Idaho Falls, passed away Oct, 27, 2011 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Erma Gay was born Sept.19, 1950 in Preston to Parley Mitton Gunnell and Doris Wilcox Hobbs Gunnell. She grew up and attended schools in the Linrose and Burley areas and graduated from Burley High School. She continued her education at Ricks College in Rexburg and at BYU in Provo, Utah.
On March 26, 1976, she married Douglas Eugene Higgins in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. Together they raised two children.
Dolly Elizabeth Chandler Seipert, 93, formerly of Blackfoot, passed away Monday, October 31, 2011 at her sonâs home in Idaho Falls.
Dolly was born on May 10, 1918 in Bancroft, Idaho to William Henry Chandler and Sara Zweifel. She lived in the Spencer and Dubois area in her youth, graduating from Dubois High School.
Glen Fred Sohm passed away Oct. 28, 2011 in Provo, Utah. He was born Nov. 25, 1930 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Fred Charles Sohm and Cora Jane Baggs.
James I. Dain, 69, of Bowling Green, Mo and formerly of Chambersburg, IL passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011 at his residence. James was born in Meadville, PA on January 19, 1942, a son of Wibirt C. and Alberta L. Marcy Dain. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield.

BOZEMAN, Mont. â Leona-Ruth Vadnais Fechter Long, 69, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 following a valiant battle with cancer.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service 113 S. Wilson Avenue, Bozeman, Mont.

Geott C. Ferris, 90, of Blackfoot passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at the
Renaissance Assisted Living in Blackfoot.
He was born Jan, 4, 1921 in Weiser to Ora C. Ferris and Vina May Dawson Ferris.
He attended school through the eighth grade. He grew up on the family farm in Weiser and later ran the farm for a number of years. He also lived in Blackfoot and Aberdeen.
He was very active in 4-H while on the farm. He also enjoyed hunting. After he moved to Aberdeen, Geott always raised a large garden.
Walter âVernâ Inskeep 77, of Aberdeen passed away Monday Oct. 17, 2011. He was a loving husband, father, and friend with a wonderful sense of humor that will be missed greatly.
Vern was born July 22, 1934, in Blackfoot to Walter and Esther Jensen Inskeep. He was raised in the Pingree-Aberdeen area, where he attended school.
Vern joined the Army where he attended the Sixth Army Food School. He served as a cook for the Army officers in Fort Lewis, Wash.
On August 12, 1955, he married Jean Jarrett. They were married for 10 years, had one son, Major, and were late divorced.
