Naomi Pharis, 88, a longtime Groveland area resident, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at her home following an illness. Funeral services are tentatively set for Thursday and a full obituary will be announced by Hawker Funeral Home.
Mary A. Smith, 97, of Blackfoot passed away Sunday, Jan, 15, 2012 at The Renaissance Assisted Living Center in Blackfoot.

Vera Colleen Arrington Choate Thurman, 89, of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 at her home.
She was born on May 3, 1922 in Woodville, Texas, to William David Arrington and Martha Ella Elizabeth Odom Arrington. She was the last child to join a family of four sisters and five brothers.
She was a farm girl and learned to work hard early. She was a tomboy and worked in the fields with her brothers.
