Michael Lawrence Lambert, 58 year old Idaho Falls resident, formerly of Blackfoot, died Saturday, January 21, 2012, at his home following an extended illness.
He was born October 12, 1953, in Blackfoot, Idaho, the son of Richard J. Lambert and Carol Lee Merkley.
He lived most of his life in Blackfoot where he attended school and grew up working with his father on the family farm. It was during these early years that his love for the soil, crops and farming were developed.
LeRoy Del Brooks, of Blackfoot, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at his home from emphysema.
He was born July 31, 1938 in Cascade to James Henry and Lois Marvel Prest Brooks. He spent his early years in Council, later moving to Prairie City, Ore., with his family. He graduated from high school there. Following graduation he joined the United States Navy, being stationed in New London, Conn.
