Maria Juana Sanchez, 65, of Blackfoot, passed away Nov. 23, 2012 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah following an extended battle with liver failure.
Maria was born on June 24, 1947 in Armadillo De Los Infantes, Mexico to Genaro and Sara Sanchez.Â She was raised and educated in Mexico.Â
On May 18, 1965 Maria married Pablo Sanchez in Armadillo De Los Infantes, San Luis Potosi, Mexico and together they had 10 children.Â
Charles Randall â€śRandyâ€ť Aldous, 68, of Blackfoot passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at Bingham Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct.15, 1944 in Blackfoot, the son of Charles Lynn Aldous and Mabel Frew Aldous.
He attended school in Grandview and graduated from Aberdeen High School.
He has been a lifetime resident of Blackfoot except for time he spent on a mission in Sweden and the military.Â He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Randy was a member of the Gold Panning Club and Model Railroaders.Â Â Â
Ellis Royce Jackman, 79, of Blackfoot, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at his home.
Â Royce was born Nov. 12, 1933 in Blackfoot to Ellis F. Jackman and Margaret Stewart.Â He graduated from Blackfoot High School.Â The following day he enlisted in the U. S. Navy.
Â One year later on July 8, 1953, Royce was sealed for time and all eternity to his high school sweetheart LaRaine Anderson in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Violet Melinda Chapman, 80, of Blackfoot passed away Saturday, Nov.24, 2012 at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.
Â Violet was born Jan. 30, 1932 in Hurricane Valley, Ariz., to Duncan Gunderson Marchant and Sadie Higley.Â She attended grade school in Roosevelt, Utah, and high school in Rainier, Ore.
Â On Nov.13, 1957 Violet married Roy H. Kimmel in Stevenson, Wash.Â They were later sealed on Aug. 23, 1968 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.Â Roy preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2009.Â On June 12, 2009 she married Don Chapman in Blackfoot.
Kebler Miller, 91, of Blackfoot passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 at The
Gables with his family by his side.
Kebler was born March 4, 1921 to Bert and Susie Miller in Laurel Springs, North Carolina.Â
Â Â He was in the Army and fought in France during World War II. He was wounded and received a Purple Heart.Â
On Nov. 16, 1951 Kebler married Evon Wyatt and they made their home in Blackfoot.Â They had three children, two sons and a daughter.
Deborah Jean Thomas, 63, of Blackfoot, passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Deborah was born March 24, 1949 in Wendell, to Glendon Myers Nicholls and Crystal Pauline White.Â Â She spent her youth in Blackfoot and graduated from Snake River High School in 1968. She went on to pursue a tech degree in office management.
She married her husband Lester Craig Thomas on Nov. 2, 1974 and together had two beautiful sons â€” Benjamin and Eric. Lester and Deborah were later divorced.
Delbert Olen Bateman, 83, of Blackfoot passed away Saturday, Nov.3, 2012 at Bingham Memorial Hospital.
Delbert was born Feb. 4, 1929 in Salmon to Olen Valintine Bateman and Alma Marie Hebertson.Â He lived most of his life in Blackfoot, attending school in Pingree and Thomas.Â
On May 26, 1951 Delbert married Norma Jean Hall in Blackfoot.Â They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.Â
Delbert was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Â He served many years in the Boy Scouts of America, many of these years as scoutmaster, and served as ward clerk.
Gerald Robert Gray, 74, of Idaho Falls and formerly of Blackfoot, passed away Nov. 2, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 22, 1938, in Albion to Robert Charles Gray and Freda Perrins Gray.Â He grew up in Blackfoot.Â In 1956, he graduated from Blackfoot High School.Â He served with the Idaho National Guard.
On Aug. 15, 1957, he married Joy Howell in Elko, Nev.Â
In Idaho Falls, he worked for Challenge and Cream Oâ€™ Weber Dairy delivering milk and also worked for the Post Register.
Taitem Devan Beck, 4 months old passed away Nov. 2, 2012. God decided he was too perfect and took him home.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at the Rigby 1st Ward Chapel, 106 N. 3800 E.Â in Rigby.Â Family will meet with friends and relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot and for one hour prior to services at the church.Â
Interment will follow at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.Â

Georgena J. Weeks Traughber Whiting, 91, of Springfield passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
She was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Idaho Falls, the daughter of George Henry Weeks and Elizabeth Jane Staten.
Georgena attended school in Idaho Falls.Â
She married Marvin Donald Whiting on Jan. 7, 1958, in Las Vegas, Nev.Â They had been married for 54 years.
Georgena traveled all over the country from Alaska to New Mexico, while her husband worked in the mines.Â She lived 14 years in Arizona.
