Jaime Ibarra Ramirez, 36

Jaime Ibarra Ramirez,36, of Blackfoot, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at his home.
He was born June 6, 1975 in French Camp, Calif., to Graciano  and Sofia Ramirez.  He weighed only 3 lb. 8 oz. when he was born.  His family lived for a short time in Florida; they moved to Blackfoot when Jaime was five years old.  Jaime attended school in Snake River, graduating from Snake River High in 1993.
 In July of 1996 he married Claudia Rodriguez; they had two children Gisselle and Jaime Jr.  and were later divorced.  He found companionship with Tahnee Jim in 2001.

Leslie T. Jemmett, 92

Leslie T. Jemmett returned to his Father in Heaven on April 8, 2012 at home with his family by his side. Leslie was born Jan. 14, 1920 in Basalt to Clifford Henry Jemmett and Daphne Webb, the fourth of nine children.
Leslie was raised in the Blackfoot hills and attended school in Aldridge. He played the fiddle in a small band with his sister Alma and brothers Henry and George and enjoyed hunting with his Dad and brothers.

Devin Cook, 21

Devin Barlow Cook, 21, of Goshen, passed away April 14, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center following a short illness. 
Devin was born Dec. 26, 1990, in Blackfoot to Barlow Lewis Cook and Merralee Purcell Cook.  He was the youngest of eight children, the brother of seven older sisters.  Devin was a special person who touched the lives of all those who had the blessing and privilege of knowing him.

Joe V. Byers, 84

Joe Virgil Byers, 84, of Blackfoot, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ early Sunday morning, April 15, 2012, at the Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.
Joe was born Sept. 20, 1927 in Idaho Falls to William Lee and Wilma Belle Warrant Byers.
On Sept. 1, 1951 he married the love of his life, Darlene Grace Ellis.  To this union were born two sons, Cary Zane Byers and Kelly Joe Byers.  After more than 49 years of marriage, his beloved wife died. 
  He retired July 31, 1992 from the Union Pacific Railroad after 28 years of service. 

Stephen Wayne Woolf, 67

Stephen Wayne Woolf, 67, of Blackfoot, passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Bingham Memorial Rehabilitation Center in Blackfoot on April 16, 2012.
Stephen was born Feb. 5, 1945 in Idaho Falls to Max and Elsie Woolf. He spent his childhood in Mud Lake; Oakland, Calif.; Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, and Shelley, farming with his family.

Orva LaRee Park, 90

Orva LaRee Park, 90, of Blackfoot, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 to join her husband, Danny, after 45 years.
She was born April 7, 1922 in Blackfoot to Ernest Otto and Mary Jane Simper Lilya.  During World War II she moved to California and worked as a switchboard operator.
On July 28, 1944 she married “Danny” Myron Earl Park in Temple, Texas.  Their marriage was solemnized in the in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS Temple on March 13, 1946.  They made their home in the Groveland-Rose area.  Danny preceded Orva in death in 1967 and in1974 she moved her family from Groveland to Blackfoot.

POWERS FUNERAL HOME- Everlyne E. Glinski, 84,

ELGIN, South Carolina – Funeral service for Everlyne E. Glinski, 84, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Tri-County.
Mrs. Glinski died Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Born in Johnsonville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Madie Stone Evans. She enjoyed traveling and loved the years she spent in Idaho and Arizona.
