MONTPELIER â€” EZRA SAMUEL PAYNE, 94, beloved father and grandfather returned home to his Heavenly Father April 24, 2012.
He was born on Dec. 9, 1917 to Lot Leo and Hattie Hayes Payne in Stringtown, Idaho.
His childhood was spent in Georgetown where he helped his dad farm. He
graduated from Georgetown High School where he enjoyed playing basketball.
Ezra married the love of his life, LaWanda Koford, on Dec. 4, 1944 in
Pocatello. They were later sealed in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple on June
24, 1966. They were married 66 years before she passed away, and Ezra lost his best friend.
Anne Mary Novosad Moses, 92
Anne was born April 16, 1920, to Susie and Paul Novosad. Her younger years were all spent in the Blackfoot area and she attended and graduated from the St. Margaret's Catholic School.
Anne married Gordon Eugene Moses on June 16, 1937 and they spent their first few years herding sheep in Idaho. In 1944 they moved to Jackson Hole, Wyo., where they raised their seven children â€” Bonnie (Jim) Wright, Beverly Ann Porta, Ruby Gott (Steve Stone), Russel (Judy) Moses, Judy (Agustin) Ugalde, Deanna Mason and Linda (Gary) Hedges.
BLACKFOOT, â€“ Ilean Call Jones, 90, of Blackfoot, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, April 23, 2012.Â She passed away peacefully at her home after an 8-month illness (congestive heart failure and pulmonary hypertension).Â
Â Ilean was born on June 10, 1921, in Malad City.Â She was the only child born to Charles Edward Call and Gertrude Blaisdell.Â She enjoyed a close association with her half brothers and half sisters throughout her life.Â
Â CHARLOTTE WESTOVER, 56
BRIGHAM CITY, Utah â€” Our loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Charlotte Westover, 56, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Ogden Regional Medical Center from cardiac arrest.
She was born on March 21, 1956 in St. Anthony, Idaho, a daughter of Glen Leonard and Genece Haws Brown.
Charlotte graduated from Snake River High School in Blackfoot.
Â She married her sweetheart, Robert S. Westover on June 16, 2006 in Blackfoot. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on June 16, 2007.
Sharon Wellman, 72
Â Our precious mother, grandmother and sister, Sharon May Gordon Wellman, 72, of Idaho Falls passed away April 21, 2012, at her home of natural causes.
Sharon was born Oct. 6, 1939, in Wapello to D. A. Gordon and Laura May Van Orden Gordon.Â She attended Groveland Elementary School and graduated from Blackfoot High School.Â She also earned her associate's degree in bookkeeping from Idaho State University.
Blake L. Bales, 64, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012, in Boise.
Blake was born Nov. 14, 1947 to Gayle and Lynn Bales of Blackfoot.
Blake was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bradley.
He is survived by four sisters and four brothers. Blair Bales (Chehalis, Wash.); Kelly Bales (Albion); Jocelyn (Vic) Adams (Pocatello); Julie (Carl) Wright (Swan Valley); Kathleen (Laurie) Williams (Swan Valley); Cherie Packham (Blackfoot); Kevin (Julie) Bales (Richmond, Utah); and Steven (Anita) Bales (Blackfoot).
Lee Meldrum Harding passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at
Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Lee was born Jan. 2, 1934 in Provo, Utah.Â He was the eighth child born to Myrtle Meldrum Haring and Milton James Harding.Â He grew up in Provo, Utah.Â
Jaime Ibarra Ramirez,36, of Blackfoot, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at his home.
He was born June 6, 1975 in French Camp, Calif., to GracianoÂ and Sofia Ramirez.Â He weighed only 3 lb. 8 oz. when he was born.Â His family lived for a short time in Florida; they moved to Blackfoot when Jaime was five years old.Â Jaime attended school in Snake River, graduating from Snake River High in 1993.
Â In July of 1996 he married Claudia Rodriguez; they had two children Gisselle and Jaime Jr.Â and were later divorced.Â He found companionship with Tahnee Jim in 2001.
Leslie T. Jemmett returned to his Father in Heaven on April 8, 2012 at home with his family by his side. Leslie was born Jan. 14, 1920 in Basalt to Clifford Henry Jemmett and Daphne Webb, the fourth of nine children.
Leslie was raised in the Blackfoot hills and attended school in Aldridge. He played the fiddle in a small band with his sister Alma and brothers Henry and George and enjoyed hunting with his Dad and brothers.
Devin Barlow Cook, 21, of Goshen, passed away April 14, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center following a short illness.Â
Devin was born Dec. 26, 1990, in Blackfoot to Barlow Lewis Cook and Merralee Purcell Cook.Â He was the youngest of eight children, the brother of seven older sisters.Â Devin was a special person who touched the lives of all those who had the blessing and privilege of knowing him.
