LeRoy Del Brooks, of Blackfoot, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at his home following an extended illness.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 at Hawker Funeral Home. The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 and again for one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Eva Luella Nelson, 95, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Bingham Memorial Extended Care in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Eva was born February 22, 1916 in Teton Idaho to Charles Noah Tuckett and Evelyn Bird.Â She attended school in Hibbard, Idaho and Madison High School in Rexburg, Idaho.Â She lived in Hibbard, Teton and Idaho Falls, Idaho, living in the Wapello area since 1953.
On September 29, 1937 Eva married Francis Nelson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Â He preceded her in death in March of 2001.
Burton Jess Powers, 80, passed away Jan. 11, 2012 in Anchorage, Alaska.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Anderson Family Funeral Home, 2555 N. Highway 93, Arco.Â A viewing will be held prior to the serviceÂ from 11 to 12:45 p.m. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Arco.
LaMar Noble Barrus, 85, of Firth passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 in Firth.
He was born Dec. 10, 1926Â to Noble Hunter Barrus and Hazel Delilah Larson in his parentsâ€™ home in Rose.
LaMar attended grade school through the eighth grade. He had lived in Pingree, Burley, Basalt, Roberts and has lived in Wapello for the last 21 years.Â He also spent a lot of time at his cabin in Island Park. He also lived in Warden, Mont.
On June 11, 1952, he married Marilyn Fackrell in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on Nov. 15, 2011.
LaMar N. Barrus, 85, of Firth passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012 in Firth.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.
HAMILTON, Mont. â€” Anina S. Johner, 80, died on Sunday Dec. 18, 2011Â at home after a short battle with leukemia under the care of her daughter Sherry Vetter, grand-daughter Brandy and Aspen Hospice of Stevensville, Mont.Â
She is survived by children: Sherry Vetter, Bruce, Paul, and Doug Johner and Tracy Wooldridge, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and one sister Claudia Bailey; and numerous extended family members.
She was preceded in death by husband Jerome (Jerry), son Mark, her parents and two sisters.
Mary Alice Smith, 97, of Blackfoot passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 at the Renaissance Assisted Living Center in Blackfoot.
She was born Aug. 28, 1914 in Blackfoot, the daughter of Joseph V. McKercher and Goldie F. Beasley.
She graduated from Blackfoot High School.
She married Conard Thorpe and they were later divorced.Â She later married Lee Byington in June of 1943 in Blackfoot.Â He preceded her in death.
On Jan. 14, 1958, she married William Smith in Kellogg.
Naomi Pharis, 88, a long time Groveland area resident, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at her home following an illness.Â
Naomi was born Sept. 10, 1923 in Aberdeen to Marvin William Elison and Leona Coolbear.Â She spent most of her lifetime in the Blackfoot area, graduating from Blackfoot High School.
On July 7, 1942 Naomi married Wesley Ellsworth Pharis in the Logan LDS Temple in Logan, Utah.Â
Naomi was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker.Â In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, reading, puzzles, her garden and especially her family.
Dorothy entered into this world on July 30, 1921 at Oconto Falls, Wisc., and left this worldly existence on Jan. 14, 2012, at the Homestead Assisted Living Center in St. Anthony. In the 90 years she walked on this earth, she saw a great many achievements and tragedies, and her faith in Jesus Christ saw her through each and every one of them.
