Mary A. Smith, 97, of Blackfoot passed away Sunday, Jan, 15, 2012 at The Renaissance Assisted Living Center in Blackfoot.
Services are pending and will be announced by Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
Vera Colleen Arrington Choate Thurman, 89, of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 at her home.
She was born on May 3, 1922 in Woodville, Texas, to William David Arrington and Martha Ella Elizabeth Odom Arrington.Â She was the last child to join a family of four sisters and five brothers.
She was a farm girl and learned to work hard early.Â She was a tomboy and worked in the fields with her brothers.
VeraThurman, 89, of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 at her home.

Zelma âBettyâ Wheeler Eubanks, 92, of Blackfoot passed away Wednesday, Jan.
11, 2012 at The Willows in Blackfoot.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 16, 2012 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. Family will meet with friends and relatives for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.

Hal Bohlscheid, 76, a former longtime Pocatello resident, passed away, Monday, Jan. 9, 2012 at his home in Island Park.
As per his request cremation has been completed.
And no public services are scheduled at this time.Â

Velma Jim, 62, of Pocatello passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 at her home from an extended illness.
She was born July 7, 1949 in Pocatello, the daughter of Theresa Marsh and Dietz Pongah Sr.
She graduated from high school in Chilocco, Okla., in 1966.
On October 9, 2009 she married LaVerne L. Jim.
Velma worked for the Shoshone Bannock Tribes and the Indian Health Services as a billing clerk.Â She also served on the Tribal Enrollment Committee.
She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, taking pictures and being with family and grandchildren.
Ken Kenji Ugaki, 87, of Blackfoot died Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.
He was born Feb. 16, 1924, in Rexburg, the son of Gisaku George Ugaki and Hisano Akiyama Ugaki.
His early years were lived in the Sugar-Salem area where he attended schools.
He married Jane Miyuki Okamoto on Aug. 8, 1952, in Rexburg.Â They were later divorced.
He came to Blackfoot in 1954 and, other than a few years in California, has lived here since.Â He was a religious man and had attended various church denominations.
Deloris âSallyâ Jensen passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
She was born April 27, 1932, in Idaho Falls, the second of seven children born to John Amos Rhoades and Sarah Edna Goodson Rhoades.Â She grew up with an older sister, Josephine; two younger sisters, Ruby and Betty Ann; and three younger brothers, Jay, John, and Dennis.Â While growing up she attended schools in Idaho Falls, Ammon, and Swan Valley and Butte and Melrose, Mont.Â She graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1950.
Virgilena LeClair, 65, of Fort Hall passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012 at the Pocatello Care and Rehabilitation Center in Pocatello, Idaho.
Virgilena was born May 25, 1946 in Pocatello to Leonard and Lydia G. Stone.Â She graduated from Blackfoot High School and attended Idaho State University in Pocatello.
In the early 1970âs, Virgilena married Lonny LeClair in Fort Hall.
Kim Dallin Watt, 59, of Pingree passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital.
Kim was born Sept. 14, 1952 in Blackfoot, Idaho to David D. and Mignon Michaelson Watt. He was raised on the farm in Pingree and received his education in Blackfoot.
Kim was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He worked at Dawn Enterprises in Blackfoot.
Kim enjoyed throwing basketballs. He especially loved helping his Dad in the hay fields, camping with his Mom and Dad and going to the State Fair on Disabled Day with Kelly Koontz.
