Carma Allene Mikesell Jensen Sorensen Taylor, 92, of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at her son Jonâ€™s home in Richmond, Utah.
She was born March 4, 1920, in Victor to Franklin Alva Mikesell and Juliette Allen Mikesell.
Carma and her family grew up in Victor. She also lived in many parts of Idaho including; Springfield, Rexburg, Blackfoot,Â Pocatello, and most recently she has lived in Richmond, Utah.
She married Harry Jensen July 5, 1938, and had four children, Marilyn, Karen, Pat, and Jon. She later married Merle Sorensen in 1979 and Gail Taylor in 2002.
Anna Catherine Tauscher, 84, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother left this earth on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012.
Anna was born in Miltown, South Dakota, on Nov. 28, 1928, to John Antone Behrend and Katherine Pauline (Schlimgen) Behrend.Â Annaâ€™s family moved to Blackfoot on Labor Day of 1936.Â Anna attended St. Margaretâ€™s Grade School and graduated from Blackfoot High School.
Beulah Trebilcock, 93, of Blackfoot passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at The Willows in Blackfoot.
Our beloved mother and grandmother was born in Wagoner, Okla., Aug. 11, 1919.Â She was the fourth child born to George D. and Adolpha Standlee Martin.Â She was reared and educated in Tulsa, Okla.Â
Upon graduation from Tulsa Central High School she attended Tulsa Secretarial School.Â She wrote for the advertising and society department of the â€śTulsa Tribuneâ€ť and then the â€śTulsa World.â€ť
Carol Inez Vogler, 63, of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at her home from cancer.
She was born Sept. 25, 1948, in Santa Cruz, California to Renaldo J. Egbert and Yvonne Hale Egbert.
Carol and her family lived in Santa Cruz, Calif., until she was through the sixth grade at which time the family moved to Oakley, Idaho. She graduated from Oakley High School in 1966.
Spencer J. Nilsson of Sterling returned to his Heavenly Father Aug. 25, 2012.
Spencer was born on Aug. 28, 1998 to his parents Ron and Yolanda Nilsson.
Spencer is the little brother to Lacie, Trevor, Riley and Suzanne. During his stay on this earth Spencer had many talents. He enjoyed snowboarding, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and was very proud when he could play the song â€śSmoke On Waterâ€ť by Deep Purple which was taught to him by his father.
Gary Grant Hames, 64, of Mackay passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at his home following a battle with cancer.Â His final days were spent surrounded by family.
Gary was born Dec. 13, 1947, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Vernon and Luella (Porritt) Hames.Â Gary, the seventh of 10 kids, was a rambunctious boy who maintained his spitfire attitude throughout his adult life.Â Garyâ€™s childhood and the familyâ€™s travels provided many great memories that he loved to reminisce about and share.Â His greatest friends throughout his life were always his siblings and their spouses.
Daniel Ray Korth, 59, of Blackfoot, Idaho, affectionately known as Dangerous Dan
Korth, passed away at high Noon, with his boots on after a good fight with cancer on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the home of his sister with his family at his side in Blackfoot.
Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Dan was born July 6, 1953 in Pocatello, Idaho to Donald Herman Korth and Averal Elaine James.Â He attendedÂ elementary school in Groveland and attending Blackfoot High School.
GOODING â€” Idonna Gibbons, 78, of Gooding, died peacefully at her home on Monday Aug. 13, 2012.
She was born Jan. 11, 1934 in Shelley, the daughter of Tom and Illa Rowley.Â
Idonna graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1952.Â She spent most of her youth working as a waitress in her father's restaurant, the Blue Plate.Â
Arthur T. â€śArtâ€ť Jordan, age 87, of Laurie, Missouri,Â passed away Friday, Aug.10, 2012, at the Laurie Care Center.Â He was born Nov. 28, 1924, in Moreland, a son of Elijah A. and Mary S. Tanner Jordan.
On Aug. 23, 1946, he was united in marriage to Freda C. Goodall, who preceded him in death on Aug. 21, 1995.
Art worked in accounting and was a United States Navy veteran, serving from July 1944 to July 1946.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an avid bowler.
Ethel May Clement, 98, of Pocatello, and formerly of Blackfoot passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Hillcrest Haven.
She was born Nov. 25, 1913, in Miniota, Manitoba, Canada, the daughter of John George Baldwin and Ethel Porter. She attended school through the ninth grade.
On May 29, 1957, she married Hilbert Clement in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.Â He preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1994. Ethel was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Â She served as Relief Society president and served a mission in 1950 in the North Central Mission in Rochester, Minn.
