January 14th
Donald Wayne Wood, 60, of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at his home, due to complications from dementia and Alzheimer’s.
 Donald was born April 12, 1952 in Blackfoot to Daniel Claude and Josephine Lewis Wood.
 He grew up in the Blackfoot area, living in Fort Hall, Thomas and Blackfoot. He graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1970. He then attended Ricks College and received his bachelor’s degree from Idaho State University.
Riggin 'Big Rig' Glenn Wright, 18-month infant
 Riggin passed from this earthly life into the arms of a loving Heavenly Father on Jan. 10, 2013.
 Riggin was born June 30, 2011 in Idaho Falls. He joined the family of Glenn and Linda Wright five weeks after his birth. Riggin struggled with several physical and mental disabilities and their effects. Riggin was a pure joy to be around, he brought peace and happiness to all those whom he came in contact with.

Mark Anthony Bynum, 52, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Portneuf Medical Center, surrounded by his family ten days after injuries sustained by an automobile accident.

Mark was born October 28, 1960 in Merced, California to Junior Bynum and Martha Lousie Tillotson. He was raised in Modesto, California and graduated from Modesto High School

Brent K. Young, 62, of Moreland ventured on to cast his line in Heaven’s rivers on Jan. 3, 2013. He passed from a heart condition which developed because of Agent Orange exposure during his service in Vietnam.
Clarice Baker Villa, 69, of Fort Hall, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at Parke View Care and Rehab Center in Burley.
She was born Dec. 31, 1943 at Fort Hall to Harrison and Pauline Broncho Baker. Â
Clarice has lived most of her life in Fort Hall and lived a short time in California and Washington. She attended school in Fort Hall and Blackfoot. Following graduation she attended college at Idaho State University and in California.
She married Raul Villa; they were later divorced.
Esmiie Elexis Quezada, 1-year-old daughter of Leiyah Quezada and Antonio Bautista of Fort Hall, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, from a sudden illness.
Christina Maria Morales, 42, of Blackfoot passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
She was born April 7, 1970 in Blackfoot to Arturo Carrizales Morales and Carolina Nuñez Morales.She attended Blackfoot High School and received her associates degree from ISU.
She married Juan Rodriguez and they were later divorced.
Christina was baptized and raised Catholic, but later joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She worked in Blackfoot at the Cheese Factory, Car Quest Auto Parts and also for American Linen.
January 2nd
Janet Rowbury, 68, of Blackfoot passed away December 28, 2012 at her home from Cancer. She was under the care of Encompass Hospice.
She was born June 5, 1944 in Rigby, Idaho to Vernon Austin Browning and Gladys Louise Strupp.
She enjoyed being with her family, working in her flower garden and going to garage sales.
Obituary
Gordon Hutchings Durney, 102, passed away in his home under the care of his family and the Blackfoot Home Health and Hospice on December 27, 2012, in Blackfoot, Idaho.Â

Rexford Dewey Christensen, born in Blackfoot June 3, 1924, died in Orofino on Dec. 29, 2012 of natural causes.
When he was a year old his mother carried him a block down the street to visit her friend who had that day given birth to Edith Clark. Rex met her the day she was born, and would marry 19 years later in 1944. They were married for 68 years.
At the end of World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps as a radio operator on a B-29. He worked for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service for over 20 years and as a police chief for Amtrak for five, retiring in 1982 to Blackfoot.
