Matthew A. Turner passed away March 31, 2013. He was born May 19, 1972, in Las Vegas, Nev., to Phil and Nancy Turner. He grew up in Yerington, Nev.
He was preceded in death by his older brother Clinton, and his grandparents on both sides of his family. He is survived by his children
and Tiffany Turner of Pingree; his parents Phil and Nancy Turner, his brother Philip (Shanda) Turner and his sister Natalie (Mike) English,
all of Dillon, Mont.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and two grand-nephews and one grand-niece.
April 2nd
Norma Wilson, 65, of Blackfoot passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 at her home.
Norma was born Oct. 11, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Montez Lee and Afton Franklin McLaws. She lived most of her life in Blackfoot.
Norma married John Wilson in Blackfoot. They had one daughter, Tina. They were later divorced.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Ruth Maxine Moody, an 87-year-old Blackfoot resident died Sunday, March 31, 2013, in Pocatello after a fall.
She was born April 4, 1925, in Bell City, Missouri, the daughter of Chester G. Abernathy and Dolly Jane Stewart Abernathy.
She was raised in Stoddard County and Bell City until age 17 when she moved to St. Louis, Mo. She later moved to Charleston, Mo. and has made Blackfoot her home since 1982.
It is with gratitude for his life and sorrow at his death that the family of Ralph Gardner Goates announce his death Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, from causes consistent with his age of 92 years.
Obituary
22 year old Sarah Marden Trebilcock passed away on March 27, 2013 from injuries suffered in a rollover.
Born January 16, of 1991 in Marietta, Georgia to Dr. Peggy Trebilcock ….she entered the world singing, and never stopped.
Ronald Andrew "Runt" Waymire, 66, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Lost Rivers Hospital in Arco.
Ron was born Dec. 9, 1946 in Idaho Falls, a triplet with Dave, and Robert who were born to Donald Fredrick and Margaret Janet Little Waymire. They were the first set of living triplets born in
Idaho Falls.
Runt, as he was know by his friends and family,
was raised in the Little Lost River Valley where he attended school in Clyde through the eighth grade, then continued his education at
Butte High School.
Linda Jean Fisher Empey of Boise, Idaho passed away March 25, 2013 peacefully in her sleep. She grew up in Moreland, Idaho. Linda was born May 25th, 1963 to Jack and Jean (Evans) Fisher. Linda married Steven Holmes Empey on April 22, 1982 in the Idaho Falls, Idaho temple. Their son, Michael Steven Empey, was born on January 20th, 1984. Linda, Steve, and Mike lived in many places. When Steve was in the military, they were stationed in Germany. They also lived in Rexburg, Moreland, Driggs, Blackfoot, Pocatello, Kuna, and Boise, Idaho, in addition to Boardman, Oregon.

Gay Peterslie, 93, of Idaho Falls passed away March 24, 2013 at Life Care Center.
She was born on April 18, 1919 to Willard and jeannette Morgan in Shelton. Her early years were spent in Pocatello.
After her father's death in 1932, she and her brother, Verle Morgan, moved with their mother to Shelley.
She graduated from Shelley High School and married Max Kelsey in 1937. The resided on a farm southwest of Shelley where their four children were born and raised. In 1989, they relocated to Idaho Falls.
March 26th
Cristel Handly, 70, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away on March 14, 2013. She died peacefully at her home. Her trial with ovarian cancer lasted over three years.
Cristel grew up in Shelley where she was born Sept. 9, 1942. She raised her family in Phoenix. After her children were grown she "snow-birded" summers in a home built near where she grew up. She loved being near her siblings.
Cristel was known for her can-do attitude, the principles of work she taught to her children, and a hospitable generosity.
Welland Andrew Hansen, 86, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Bingham Memorial Hospital
Welland “Rusty” was born July 27, 1926 in Newton, Utah, to Andrew Lester and Anna Kropfli Hansen. When he was two years old his parents purchased a farm and moved to Bancroft, Idaho. He grew up with his younger brother, Jim and Marguerite “Mig”, an aunt four years older than him who he considered his sister. They were a close-knit family who shared the joys and struggles of farm life. He graduated from North Gem High School in 1944.
