Ardeena Nalder Sasser, of Pingree, passed away on Sept. 5, 2013.Â She was 94 years old.Â
Ardeena was born July 29, 1919, the daughterÂ of Archie and Clara Webb Nalder.Â She grew up in Holbrook, attending schools in Holbrook and Kaysville, Utah.Â
Â She married Blaine Sasser on Christmas day 1936 and they were later sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.Â She and Blaine settled the family farm in Pingree, where she has livedÂ for the past 74 years.
Our sweet little Conner returned home to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 after a tragic accident.
Â Conner was a special boy with a pure heart who loved his family.Â He loved to play with his brothers.Â Together they would jump on the tramp, throw footballs, play Mario Brothers, ride the four-wheeler, draw pictures, pop popcorn and watch movies.Â He loved dinosaurs, trains, Spiderman and rainbows.Â Conner was especially excited about the go-cart his dad just built for him.
Joseph Timothy Baldree Jr, 93, of Blackfoot, passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 7, 1919 in Farmville, North Carolina, to Joseph Timothy and Nancy Horton Joyner Baldree.Â Joe was raised and attended school in Farmville, North Carolina.Â He has lived in various places in North Carolina, Blackfoot and Salmon.
Joe enlisted in the Army in 1943, during World War II with 5 children at home, he served in Rhineland, Northern France and Normandy Beach.Â He was honorably discharged in 1945 after being wounded.
Wilmer E. Wheeler, â€śWimpâ€ť, passed away on Sept. 1, 2013 at his home in Phoenix, Ariz.Â He was 81 years old.Â
Wilmer was born in 1932 in Moreland.Â He is the son of Austin and Lurlean Wheeler.Â Wimp loved his family the most, but horse racing, fishing, farming and ranching were all close seconds.Â He was always willing to give a helping hand, a friendly wave and a beautiful smile.Â Â Â
Elaine Poog Ingawanup, 86, passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.
She was born March 25, 1927 to Peter Poog and Alice Deepwater in Ross Fork.
Â She attended the Fort Hall Boarding School and Chemawa Indian School in Oregon. She also attended Idaho State University office occupations program.
Elaine married Jim Ingawanup in May 1947 and they made their home in Ross Fork where they were ranchers.
Melvina Lee Barnes Belnap, 86, of Moreland passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sept. 1, 2013 at her sisterâ€™s home from a brief illness.Â
She was born Aug. 28, 1927 to Forrest Walker and Ruth Elzada (Sanders) Barnes in Idaho Falls and later moved to Oklahoma and then back to Hamer.Â She graduated from Roberts High School and Ricks College (Brigham Young University-Idaho), and taught at Rigby Elementary for two years.Â Later she attended Utah State University to receive a bachelorâ€™s degree in Elementary Education.
Having lived a long and fulfilling life, our Heavenly Father has called our Mom home to be reunited with her husband of 61 years, Earl Anderson, her son Barry, daughters Earline, Luana and Vickie. Her Sister Norma (Lawrence Lewis), three cousins that her parents raised, Bill, Florence & Rose and her parents John and Virginia Parsons.
Jason Claire VanOrden, 26, of Pingree passed away Thursday, Aug.29, 2013 in Pocatello.Â
Jason was born Sept. 16, 1986 to Julie Ann Tsukamoto and Garth VanOrden in Pocatello.Â He lived his lifetime in Pingree, and attended schools in the Snake River School District and in Loa, Utah.
In October of 2011, Jason married Camille Hogue in Pocatello.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He loved working with his family on the family farm.Â In his free time he enjoyed snowboarding, fishing and playing the violin.Â
Dean E. Ferrin, 82, of Blackfoot, passed away Friday, Aug. 30, 2013 at Bingham Memorial Hospital.Â
Dean was born Jan. 1, 1931 in Burley to Alta J Lyons and Clovis Ferrin.Â He was raised in Burley and graduated from Burley High School.Â He lived in California, Washington, Soda Springs, Pocatello, and the past 55 years in Blackfoot.
He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from August 1950 to August of 1954 in Korea.
On Nov. 7, 1953 Dean married Betty Sibbett in Soda Springs.Â Their marriage was solemnized April 28, 1967 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
James "Jim" Lee Dial of Shelley lost his battle with cancer August 28 2013.Â
James was born in Blackfoot, July 17, 1951 to Bob and LaVaun Beasley Dial. His early years were spent on Cedar Creek Ranch. Â At the age of three the family moved to Firth where he resided till moving to Shelley in 1989.
Â Â Â Â In August of 1974 he met the love of his life and soul mate Kristina Johnson and they were married April 19, 1975.
