Frank Thibeault, 91, of Blackfoot, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Bingham Memorial Rehab and Extended Care Facility.
He was born Oct. 8, 1922 in Tilbury, Ontario, Canada, to Laurent and Harriett Rowe Thibeault.¬† Frank lived in Ontario, Canada and Blackfoot, Idaho.¬† He attended school in Canada through the sixth grade.
On Nov. 17, 1951 Frank married Mabel Galbraith in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.¬† Mabel preceded him in death.
Mark A Paladino, 53, of Fort Hall, Idaho passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at Monte Vista in Pocatello, Idaho.
He was born March 5, 1961 in Los Angeles, Calif., the son of John Paladino and Gladys Poog. Mark was raised by his Aunt Elaine, and Uncle Jim Ingawanup. He lived in California; Missoula, Mont.; and Idaho. He attended Fort Hall Elementary, Blackfoot Jr. High School, and graduated from Missoula, Mont. High School.
Mark was a member of the Native American Church.¬†
Gary Myers, 59, of Salmon, Idaho passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Jones & Casey Funeral Home with viewing one hour before services. Burial will be in the Salmon Cemetery.
Gary Cooper Myers was born on Nov. 24, 1954 in Salmon, Idaho, the son of Gilbert and Jeanne Myers. In 1964 Gary moved to Fort Hall with his father and sisters. He moved to Blackfoot where he worked at the Idaho potato plant.
Lois Larson, 96, of Firth died at her home on March 18, 2014 of natural causes.
She was born on April 1, 1917 in Shelley, Idaho.¬†She was the third of three children and the only daughter of Peter H. Catron and Alice Christine McBride Catron. She grew up in Shelley, where she attended elementary school and graduated from Shelley High School.
She married J. Warland Larson, in his parent‚Äôs home in Basalt, on Nov. 17, 1936. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Wanda Florentine Lutz, 84, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Portneuf Medical Center of natural causes.¬†
Wanda was born March 19, 2014 in Hebron, Neb. to Martin L. Holtzen and Meta Aufdenkamp.¬†She attended school in Nebraska, Twin Falls and Filer.¬†She graduated from Filer High School in 1948.
On Feb. 4, 1951, Wanda married Bob Lutz in Clover, Idaho.¬†They were later divorced.
James O. Sorensen, 58, of Firth was reunited with his parents on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at his home from natural causes.
¬†Jimmy was born on June 25, 1955 in Shelley, Idaho to Verdal O. and Edna Emma Lyon Sorensen.¬†He was born with a rare syndrome called Rubinstein-Taybi.¬† Children with this syndrome usually pass away from a heart defect around the age of 20.
Jose De Jesus Romero, also known as Joe Brown, 59, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Bingham Memorial Hospital after a valiant battle with brain cancer.
Jose was born Dec. 25, 1954 in Guadalajara, Mexico to Fredrico Romero and Irene Fackrell.¬†His father died at a young age and he was raised by Irene and Arliss Fackrell. He moved to Blackfoot, Idaho as a child and spent his lifetime in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School in 1974.
He married Trina Chapman and they had two sons, Tony and Ryan.¬†They were later divorced.
On March 19, 2014, the world is a little less bright with the passing of Albert Erramouspe, age 90 of Blackfoot, Idaho.¬† Albert was a wonderful, man, husband, father, grand-father, great grand-father and friend.¬†
¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬† Albert was born April 9, 1923 to John and Jeanne Erramouspe in Malad, Idaho.¬† He was the third, of three boys, brother to John Jr. and Mike.¬† Albert graduated from Malad High School in 1941.¬† He then attended the University of Idaho, graduating in 1949 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry.¬†
Gloria Ella Pubigee Valdez, 69, of Cedar City, Utah passed away March 14, 2014.
Gloria was born to Elias and Alice Brown Pubigee in Malad, Idaho on Aug. 4, 1944.¬†She lived in Washakie, Utah.¬†She went to grade school in Garland, Utah, then to Bear River.¬†
Mary Catherine (Molly) O'Rourke Peters, 89, beloved mother and grandmother peacefully passed away in her sleep surrounded by her family at the home of her daughter in Pocatello, Idaho on March 16, 2014.
Molly was born June 10, 1924 to John T. O'Rourke and Mary C. Hanratty O'Rourke in Pocatello, Idaho. She grew up in Pocatello, attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and graduated from Pocatello High in 1942. Molly worked for several years at Scowcroft & Sons, a product shipping company in Pocatello.
