Steven Lynn Johnson, 50, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Jan. 27, 2014, in Shelley.
¬†He was born Jan. 20, 1964, in Ann Arbor, Mich. to Grover Vaughn Johnson and Sandra Lee Foster Johnson.¬† He was raised in Omaha, Neb. where he attended schools and graduated from Burke High School.¬† He continued his education at Brigham Young University where he received his bachelor‚Äôs degree and then Colorado State University where he received his master‚Äôs degree in Business Finance.
On Dec. 15, 1986, he married Kim Marie Jolley in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.¬† They were married until 2010.¬†
Moonyeen Coffey, 77, of Blackfoot passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2014 at her home.¬†
Private family services will be held at a later date.¬†
The family would like to thank Alliance Home and Hospice, Bishop Mike Horrocks and the Blackfoot 11th Ward for all their loving care of Moonyeen.¬† Arrangements have been under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.¬†

Juanita Virginia Howard, 88, of Blackfoot, passed away Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital.¬†
She was born Aug. 25, 1925 in Roanoke, Virginia to Elijah S. and Sadie Florence Potter Hostetter.¬† She was raised and received her education in Roanoke.
She met LeRoy Elson Howard while they were both serving missions in California.¬† After completion of their missions they were married on July 25, 1948, in Roanoke, Virginia.¬† Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Aug.4, 1948.
Mary O. Smith, 92, formerly of Blackfoot, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at the Hiland Assisted Living Center in Burley.
Mary was born on Aug. 25, 1921 at Artiesan City, Twin Falls County, to Charles W. Zulkey and Fannie Towery Zulkey.
Mary was a former resident of Blackfoot where she was employed at State Hospital South and Nonpareil Potato Company. She resided in Blackfoot for over 36 years, making her home in the Parkside Manufactured Mobile Home Community.
Jovita R. Torres, 82, of Firth passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014 at her home. ¬†
Jovita was born Nov. 17, 1931 in Crystal City, Texas to Juan and Antonia Rodriguez.¬† She grew up in Texas with her three sisters, Marcela, Bertha¬† and Olga.
In 1950 she met the love of her life, Moises Torres, and would bless him with nine children.¬† Together they traveled around from state to state, working and raising their children, finally making Firth their family home in 1957.
Helen May Briggs Evans, 95, of Blackfoot passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 at the Willows Assisted Living Center in Blackfoot.¬†
She was born April 16, 1918 in Woods Cross, Utah, the oldest child to Amos Archie Briggs and Elnora May Grant Briggs. She attended school in Bountiful and graduated from Davis County High School. Following graduation, she attended the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah.¬†
Verrnieda Nagashoah Faulkner, 65, died Jan 23 at her home in Gibson.
She was born May 17, v1949 to Lucille Pocatello and Joe Nagashoah. She grew up in the Gibson area of the Fort Hall Indian Reservation. She attended loco schools and also went to boarding school in Oklahoma. Vernieda graduated from the Culinary Arts School at Idaho State University. She enjoyed cooking and welcomed many people to her table over the years.
Vernieda married Perry LeRoy Faulkner on Feb 8, 1968 and to this union were born four children.
Joseph Eldon Grimmett 13, of Blackfoot passed away January 24, 2014 at his home.¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†
He was born August 21, 2000 in Blackfoot, Idaho the son of Eldon M. Grimmett and Lucrecia A. Rossi.¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†
Joseph attended Snake River School District and was currently attending Mountain View Middle School in Blackfoot.¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†
IVINS, Utah - Margaret W. Lapray, 83, passed away on Jan. 22, 2014, peacefully at her home in Ivins, Utah.¬†
She was born Oct. 6, 1930 in Thomas, Idaho.¬†
She was the seventh of 12 children born to Cornelious and Gertrude Williams.¬† She attended Idaho State University and graduated from Utah State University.¬† She was a school teacher.¬†
June Gines Jones, beloved mother, grandma, great-grandma, and sister passed away January 24, 2014 in Blackfoot, Idaho.
June was born June 6, 1920 in Woodland, Utah to Clifton Gines and Francis Ellen Chamberlain.¬† She was the second child in a family of seven.
